Innovation, Development and Fundraising Manager

I think like many people at Build on Belief, my journey hasn’t been a straight or predictable one. It has been winding and full of lots of experience, all of which have led me here!

My background has been shaped by working across education, community programmes and hands-on roles, from supporting young people in schools to delivering creative workshops and public projects. I’ve always been drawn to spaces where people can learn, connect and feel part of something.

Along the way, I developed a real interest in how programmes are built behind the scenes - the planning, the relationships, and understanding the small details that make something meaningful and accessible to others. But more than anything, I was looking for work that felt real and had a genuine impact on people’s lives.

That’s what I’ve found at BoB. Being part of a community where people can show up as themselves, without judgement, and feel heard and supported, has completely shaped how I see the work that I do.

In my role as Fundraising, Innovation and Development Manager, I focus on building support for BoB and exploring new ideas that help the organisation grow. I enjoy connecting with people, thinking creatively and being part of something that is constantly evolving. The work we do here matters and has a lot of purpose and in the unified understanding that recovery is possible for everyone.
