  1. Our Services & Programmes

Newham

'Consider the postage stamp: it's usefulness consists in being able to stick to one thing until it gets there.'

The weekend service in Newham has been running for 9 years and is a vibrant and diverse service. Run by an excellent BoB team, it is the ideal place to find a little extra support at the weekend if life gets difficult.

It is blessed to have a wonderful little garden which is the ideal place to relax with a cup of coffee.

Staffed by a committed team of friendly and skilled volunteers, there is plenty of easy conversation, and with excellent kitchen facilities and a giant dining table, a place where we enjoy community meals together.

  • When? Open every Friday from 5 pm - 7 pm & Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am - 3.45 pm (schedule below)
  • Where? The CGL Hub, 3 Beckton Road, Canning Town, London E16 4DT

There are dedicated art facilitators that come weekly to run art and portrait workshops. There are also table tennis, music, tech support, bob games, boules, quiz, darts, wall graffiti, gardening groups, books, an XBOX and a Film club to keep everyone active and engaged.
