Our Services & Programmes Services in West London Kensington and Chelsea Kensington and Chelsea: Sports and Leisure Services 'Use what talents you possess. The wood would be silent if no birds sang except those that sang best.' Every Wednesday and Sunday. Harrow Club: 187 Freston Road, North Kensington, London W10 6HT What we do The badminton club on a Wednesday is where we began our adventures in the world of peer-led projects, and has been running since April 2005. The link between physical exercise and mental well-being has long been established, for exercise helps to boost the bodies production of endorphins, natures very own feel good chemicals! This is of particular value to anyone in recovery who suffers from low moods or depression. Don't hold back from accessing our sporting services because you have reservations about your fitness levels, or have never played badminton before. These services are designed for, and run by people who have had difficulties with their substance use, and we have many years practice at supporting people into taking part at their own pace. Games of badminton, often doubles, are organised according to the ability of those playing, so don't feel shy if you are a beginner! You are advised to wear loose fitting clothes and trainers. All other equipment is provided. The badminton club runs every Wednesday and Sunday. The Gym and Swim Club runs every Saturday, and again we recommend wearing loose clothing and trainers.
